During a session of cryotherapy, you will be in a room that is cooled to approximately -130 degrees Fahrenheit. This extreme cold will cause your body to release endorphins, which will help to improve your overall health and wellbeing. In addition to the health benefits, cryotherapy can also help to reduce inflammation.
While cryotherapy is generally safe, there are a few contraindications to consider before scheduling a session. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a heart condition, or suffer from claustrophobia, you should not participate in a session of cryotherapy.

What to expect during your first session: Since you’ve never had the experience, your first session will be 1-2 minutes long. After this, your sessions will probably last up to 3 minutes for the best results.
How many sessions should I have? The protocols for your cryotherapy will depend on your goals. If you desire to improve or reverse a chronic illness you will need more frequent sessions than, for example, maintenance for age reversal, which can be done once or twice a month. Also, if you’re getting close to that competition you could consider daily treatments for a couple of weeks before your event.
